TILE CONTRAST MAPPING
Working drain tiles are most visible following rain events and locations can be approximated using imagery captured from a UAV. Many factors contribute to the effectiveness of these maps: surface residue, time of year, amount of rainfall, and time after rainfall are among the most significant factors. With advanced UAV technology, mapped lines can be accessed from the field within 2-3 cm accuracy of their geospatial location, helping to minimize time locating in the field.
